o They need to be able to consult with prospects, listen to their needs, pitch the company core product, adapt the pitch to the prospect’s needs, negotiate, close and track progress using Sales Force.
o 2-4 years of experience is about right, with some level of mental dexterity.
o In other countries we typically have university graduates though not always if there is someone with strong and relevant experiential experience.
o Goal orientated, willing to work quickly with financial incentives to map as many merchants as possible.
o Ideally university educated
o high energy, personable
o Medium computer literacy, being able to use Sales Force (ideally prior experience with a CRM/ERP)
o Able to learn the key messages to give to merchants.
o Active listener and confident in communications. They will introduce the company to merchants and understand their concerns.
o Negotiation skills, ability to explain commission and basic tax application concepts.
